Dog Treat Recall
Most of you have probably been made aware of the peanut butter product recall due to salmonella contamination. But now the recall also includes some dog biscuits that have peanut butter paste made in the same plant in Georgia where the contamination started.
The dog biscuits or cookies as I usually call them were in stores and sold from around August 21, 2008 through January 19, 2009. PetSmart is the chain of stores that sold them and their website offers a detailed description of the products that you should be wary of in case of salmonella contamination. I will list the biscuit types below in case you need to check your stash of dog treats.
